Linda Culverwell, creater of ARTBASH and practicing artist for twenty + years.
ARTBASH was launched in 2010 after having 3 children and seeing the value of children learning and experimenting through art. Primarily a painter, Linda has, in recent years, been drawn to engaging with the community through her work and workshops. Driven by a desire to inspire others, actively, through art, Linda has lead numerous community projects that have been instrumental in shaping ideas, motivating groups and allowing people to enjoy the process as much as the final results. Many of her pieces have been commissioned into public places, such as hospitals, schools nurseries and corporate spaces, banks, offices and hotels internationally. ARTBASH continues to grow, evolve and inspire.
As practicing artists we choose to collaborate and utilise our varied expertise and experience, creating, exciting, beautiful results.
Paula Hughes came on board In March 2012 and shortly afterwards the blog was set up as a way of documenting the wonderful creations that emerge while simultaneously allowing people to constantly keep up to date with the wonderful world of ARTBASH. Paula is an upholsterer and her work revolves around taking the old and forgotten pieces and repurposing to create wholly new designs that can, in turn, be given a brand new life.
Inés Szamrey a professional fine artist and art educator. Mum to one, some days she’s trying to remember which way is up. By sharing her adventures in Art with children what she wants most is to one day be able to draw and paint like one of them. Co-founded Art Hoppers with colleague Claire WT.
Claire WT is London based illustrator, print designer and mural artist with BA (Hons) Fine Art, Uni of Plymouth, Exeter. As Co-founder of Art Hoppers with Ines Szamrey, Claire delivers creative workshops for early years and families within both formal educational settings and public spaces.
Her experience as a scenic painter has led to exciting commissions as a mural artist and using print design, her drawings and intricate paper cuts are applied to both paper and fabric based products which Claire promotes and sells under her design label CWT.
